I am learning about honey production and bee colonies from a friend here in southern Ontario. I assist her with her hives and am taking the Apiology course as well.
My plan is to move north to Rolphton in the next year and would love to pursue this interest at that time, perhaps starting as a volunteer with some one else’s bees.
Will you be holding a local 2022 meeting or only attending the Ohio meetings?
Enjoy this summer.

Sorry just seeing this comment now. If you are talking Ohio, USA, not even close to our area so that’s a definite no. We do have meetings more so in the winter and maybe 1 spring and 1 summer. Following our Facebook group you will see our events posted when they are planned out. We have a few beekeepers from Chalkriver, Deep River and in Rolphton. If you need supplies, I have everything you need at Valley Beekeeping Supplies just to the east of Pembroke.
